Bad pickup at the pharmacy? A South Florida man was robbed by women he met at Walgreens, according to police

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla – A classic South Florida trick has claimed another victim.

It is not uncommon for a man to be robbed of his Rolex or jewelry after bringing home one or more women. They usually meet in a bar, nightclub or casino.

According to Hallandale Beach police, one of the youngest victims looking for love met the perpetrators at – of all places – Walgreens.

Specifically, at the chain’s location, 1300 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd.

Police said the victim met the three women, who called themselves “Layla,” “Rose” and “Nicki,” in the checkout line.

A video shows him starting a conversation with one of the women and eventually giving them his phone number.

At 3 a.m., police say, the trio called him: They wanted to come over.

That would prove to be a mistake.

Authorities said the three stole more than $200,000 worth of Rolex watches and jewelry from the man. Police said they distracted him.

The police assume that she has struck before.

“They are individuals who do what they do,” Hallandale Beach police spokeswoman Grace Mariot said.

Authorities said their real names were Antonietta Ceccarelli, Lexi Buffaloe and Juliana Cortes.

Arrest warrants were issued against them.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
