Ulster County man convicted of first-degree murder in killing of neighbor

An Ulster County man accused of hiring a hitman to kill his neighbor has been convicted of first-degree murder.

Prosecutors also allege Lowe provided Stansberry with the mask and gloves used in the crime and used a code word on the phone to indicate when the victim was alone.

In addition to first-degree murder, Lowe was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence after destroying the phone he used to communicate with Stansberry.
