Dwight Howard says he would “smash” Victor Wembanyama in the paint.

In a hot take worthy of Kendrick Perkins, three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard recently shared with Mike Miller on the OG’s show The podcast states that despite praising Victor Wemby’s outstanding rookie season in a one-on-one match, the 38-year-old believes he would “destroy Wemby in the paint”.

Although Howard admitted the fight would be tough, he was confident.

This isn’t the first time Howard has commented on Victor. On December 9, 2023, Wembanyama left his mark on the NBA by surpassing Dwight Howard’s record as the youngest player to achieve a 20/20 game.

Broke my record! This guy is already awesome! I love watching it

The 6’10” 265 lbs. baller, who most recently played in Puerto Rico, might be best at bullying the French phenom in the paint. Unfortunately for Howard, he suffered more in the paint than he was used to.

Additionally, Wemby can throw past Howard, especially from outside the three-point line.

I’m not saying Victor could get away scot-free, but he would win in the end.
