Thirty and successful: In 2024, the Jaguars will celebrate their 30th season in the NFL. Tom Coughlin, the franchise’s first head coach, was selected as the seventh member of the PRIDE OF THE JAGUARS last fall. As the team’s all-time winningest coach, the franchise will induct Coughlin in a yet-to-be-determined game this season. The Jaguars unveiled their season 30 logo last month.

TRAVELER MILES: The Jaguars will travel the 11th-most miles in the NFL during the 18-week regular season with 22,075 miles and 20 time zone changes. The westernmost point the team will travel to is Las Vegas. The journey to London will be the longest journey of the year at 4,250 miles.

WINNING WEATHER: The 2024 schedule only calls for one home game for Jacksonville in September, but three home games in December. Since 2000, the average temperature in Jacksonville at kickoff in September is a sweltering 83.5 degrees and a balmy 62 degrees in December (courtesy of TruMedia). Jacksonville concludes its season with an indoor game against Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Heading south for the opening game: Jacksonville will travel south to begin its 2024 regular season against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. The game will be the Jaguars’ shortest road trip of the season at just 327 miles. The Jaguars have faced the Dolphins 10 times in franchise history, with each team winning five games. The last time the two played was in Week 6 of the 2021 season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. QB Trevor Lawrence scored the first win of his career with a 23:20 win. Jacksonville has never played Miami to open a regular season and has played an AFC East opponent once in Week 1, a 13-10 win over Buffalo in 2004. This is the third consecutive year in where the Jaguars begin the regular season away.

BROWNS IN THE BANK: The Jaguars will open their Week 2 home games with a game against the Cleveland Browns at EverBank Stadium. The 2024 season will be the second time the Jaguars will play the Browns at home in September. Jacksonville is 12-7 all-time against Cleveland, 5-4 at home.

BACK IN THE BRIGHT LIGHT: Jacksonville returns to Monday Night Football in 2024 when they visit the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Head coach Doug Pederson is 5-3 in his Monday Night Football career. Jacksonville will play Monday night for the first time since 2010 and 2011 in back-to-back seasons. The Jaguars have won two straight games against the Bills since 2021.

Doug Pederson will return to Philadelphia for the second time as an opposing head coach in a Sunday night primetime game against the Eagles in Week 9. Pederson brings a 26-14-1 record into the game at Lincoln Financial Field. The Jaguars are 3-3 all-time against NFC opponents heading into Sunday night. In their last game against an NFC team on Sunday night, they defeated the Tampa Buccaneers 17-10 on November 30, 2003.

FAMILIAR ENEMIES: Jacksonville begins its 2024 divisional schedule with a visit to Houston in Week 4. The Jaguars have faced the Texans once before in Week 4, in 2008, when they emerged victorious with a 30-27 overtime win on September 28th . The two teams conclude their season series in Jacksonville on December 1st in Week 13. With a win in Houston, Jacksonville would secure its first three-game road win streak against the Texans in franchise history.

The Jaguars face a second straight AFC South rival when the Colts visit Jacksonville in Week 5. If the Jaguars win, it would be their ninth straight home win against the Colts dating back to 2015. The Jaguars conclude their regular season series with the Colts in Week 18 at a date to be determined. The 2024 season will be the first time since 2021 that Jacksonville will close its regular season against the Colts, with a 26-11 home win. If the Jaguars can defeat the Colts, it would be the first four-game winning streak against Indianapolis in franchise history.

The Jaguars will face the Titans for the first time in Week 14 on December 8th and again four weeks later in Week 17 on December 29th. This season marks the first time since 1997 that Jacksonville will face Tennessee twice in the same month.

EURO STEPING: The Jaguars will play two games in London again in 2024. The first game against the Chicago Bears will take place in Week 6 on October 13th at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Jacksonville will face the New England Patriots the following Sunday on October 20th at Wembley Stadium. Last season, the Jaguars became the first NFL franchise to win consecutive games not played on American soil after defeating the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills across the pond. OLB Josh Allen recorded 3.0 sacks against Atlanta, becoming the first player in NFL history to record at least 3.0 sacks outside of the United States. RB Travis Etienne Jr. set a Tottenham Hotspur Stadium record with 184 scrimmage yards in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over Buffalo.
